Ours was an extensive and complex project. It consisted of a large and very modern glass addition and complete stripping and renovation of the existing building. The Devon longhouse comprises portions from every century, with the oldest part being almost 500 years old.
Dealing with a very old building full of unexpected "surprises", Alan provided sound advice on the best way to proceed and was able to adapt the design to make all the elements work together. He ran the job very well while we were living abroad, was able to deliver the product to specification, and produced a home with high quality finishes.
